where of course my opinions matter :P just a blog where i share my thoughts on counter strike updates and esports! sometimes i also ask friends for their opinions as well and add them here :)

season 4 + maps + skins :o counter strike has updated yesterday! i have taken a look at the patch notes as well as the stuff in game and i can tell you it seems pretty interesting..
season 4 is now out (time for me to be 3k ELO AGAIN!!!) and i hope you all have gotten your season 3 medals! i really hope this season has less cheaters.. i honestly feel quite bad for the higher elo players that have had to deal with the frustration of having cheaters in their lobbies but alas it is a new season and we can only look at the bright side!
moving on: new community maps + anubis update i've taken a look at some of these community maps, ive played actual games on the wingman ones and i can't say much about them.. honestly i have never been a huge fan of community maps, i think some that have been out in the past are very nice but these ones seem a bit bland to me :/. i have also gone into practice mode and looked at the competitve community maps which i think are a bit better than the wingman ones (i mean what do you expect when you can only play one bomb site?) i love the aesthetics for them honestly, the alpine map being my top community map so far i love the like "ski resort" aesthetic a lot! BUT NOW anubis, being a map that was in the previous premier map pool has now been put back in, thus having train being taken out sorry to all my train lovers, we still love you theyve made some updates.. first being the most obvious: bridge drop has been moved to face mid doors this is now making it so the mid doors positioning has ALSO changed as well and now CTs can see Ts coming into water much faster i've noticed. this update to the drop may take time to get used to, but i dont really see it as a bad one ESPECIALLY if you aren't watching water through ebox like.. anwyays.. i feel like this is one of the more major changes to the map that you notice more than the rest (which i will get into at a later time).
everyones favorite: skins new skins coming out means a lot to the cs community i feel, they have released 2 new collections called "harlequin" and "achroma". the harlequin collection features very colorful skins for: m4a1-s, usp-s, awp, zeus x27, ump-45, five-seven, galil ar, ssg 08, tec-9, mp7, mp5-sd, xm1014, mp9, cz75-auto, r8 revolver, sawed-off, pp-bizon, sg 553 and famas! now just from looking at them i will say now, they arent exactly my favorite. i mean of course i like colorful skins but these just seem to be missing something for me.. there are some i truly like but i wouldnt switch the current skin i have equipped for it.. i can't really have an input on it at all.. the achroma collection is actually the opposite! these skins feature more so black/white skins for: awp, ak-47, glock-18, desert eagle, aug, p90, p2000, m4a4, mac-10, r8 revolver, famas, mp5-sd, p250, dual barettas, m249, pp-bizon, mp9, nova, scar-20 and ssg 08! honestly, i kinda like these just because they dont have too much color. a nice sticker craft would look nice on these or a charm if youre into those!
